RP on Dynamis is all about trying new things without the established norm of everyone goes to the Quicksand.A new rp initiative to build a hub of Far Eastern-themed venues within walking distance is underway. There are four venues here with more planned in the near future.Once you arrive, you'll notice that much of the ward is still open, especially the small houses. If you are interested in creating an rp venue (either a business or a home) in the ward, please contact Mew on Discord. Funding and furnishing assistance may be available for the project.

What's up with dynamis?
The four new worlds for North America opened in November of 2022. The first personal housing lottery followed a few days later and the first FC lottery after a month. Venues are still being purchased and designed as this new community starts to get established. Halicarnassus is the primary rp hub with Seraph having the highest player population, Marilith and Maduin have lower populations but more housing available. Dynamis has a small but extremely active discord community for both RP and PvE.

There is an active intention to not fall back on the Quicksand as a main source of rp. To that end, pop-up rp in various locations brought out different characters and the Kugane pop-up had enough participation that it encouraged us to create a weekly event with the intention of growing the Far Eastern rp community. Walk-up rp has been slow getting off the ground, so we hope to foster consistent opportunities in the setting.

What is the state of Dynamis right now? We are a baby DC that launched in-between patches halfway through an expansion. That gave players time to level alts or crafting jobs to prepare for housing, and because Square Enix recommends new worlds to new players in character creation we have a significant number of players who are experiencing Final Fantasy for the first time, many coming from rp in other games or forums.
